Here we have several styles featuring our stunning ‘spice’ yarn, this time in boucle. As with the 50% wool 50% cotton yarn of the same name, this yarn is lovingly made by manually dip dying the wool one colour at a time. As the 100% wool absorbs more dye than the 50/50 this produces a richer deeper colour. While the 50/50 yarn seems to radiate the warmth and light of a sunny day the boucle ‘spice’ burns with the heat of a fire.
My wife wears the spice boucle cardigan and I am not ashamed to say, has done so for quite a few years. It still looks as good as the first time she put it on and more often than not strangers will stop her in the street to admire and enquire, about the cardigan that is.
